The 7 Netflix Shows Millennial Moms Are Binging Right Now (January 2026

AKA: What to watch while the kids are finally asleep and you're too tired to move but too wired to actually sleep

Listen, we all know the drill. You've survived another Tuesday (or is it still Tuesday from last week? Time is an illusion). The kids are in bed, the kitchen is a disaster you're choosing to ignore until tomorrow, and you have exactly 47 minutes before you'll inevitably pass out mid-episode.

Here's what your fellow millennial moms are streaming this month while pretending we don't have laundry to fold.

1. Bridgerton Season 4 (Premiering January 29)

The Vibe: Regency romance meets modern feminist sensibilities meets very nice costumes

Okay, we know you've been waiting for this one. Season 4 finally focuses on Benedict Bridgerton (the hot artistic brother who's been lurking in the background looking mysterious), and he's about to have his main character moment at a masquerade ball.

Why millennial moms are losing it:

  • It's Bridgerton. Do we need more reasons?
  • We all peaked in our "masked ball fantasy" phase around 2004 and this scratches that itch
  • It's being released in two parts (Part 1 on Jan 29, Part 2 on Feb 26), which means we get to stretch out the drama
  • Historical corsets + modern feminism + actual chemistry = the perfect escape from making chicken nuggets for the third time today

Best paired with: Your fanciest glass of wine (or boxed wine poured into said fancy glass, we don't judge). Pretty Face candle for that "I'm living in a romance novel" energy.

Real talk: This is premium "turn your brain off and enjoy pretty people having feelings" content. Sometimes that's exactly what we need.

2. His & Hers (Now Streaming)

The Vibe: Psychological thriller where your ex might be a murderer

Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal play estranged spouses — she's a reporter, he's a detective — and they're both trying to solve a murder in their small Georgia town. Oh, and they each think the OTHER one did it.

Why we're hooked:

  • It's only 6 episodes, which is perfect for our attention spans
  • Based on an Alice Feeney novel (if you know, you know)
  • The "is my partner secretly terrible?" anxiety hits different when you're married with kids
  • Tessa Thompson could read the phone book and we'd watch
  • It's twisty enough to keep us awake past 9:30pm

Best paired with: Stress Theory candle, because this show will have you spiraling (in the best way). Also maybe don't watch it right before trying to have a calm conversation with your spouse.

Real talk: This is the kind of show that makes you google "can I look up my husband's location history" at 11pm. We've all been there.

3. Queer Eye Season 10 (The Final Season)

The Vibe: The Fab 5 are back to make us cry happy tears one last time

Antoni, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Karamo, and Tan are heading to Washington D.C. for their final season, and honestly, we're not emotionally prepared to say goodbye.

Why we're not okay:

  • This show has been our emotional support content since like 2018
  • It's the final season and we're in our FEELINGS
  • Watching people get life makeovers reminds us that change is possible (even when we're still wearing the same leggings from 3 days ago)
  • It's wholesome without being preachy
  • Sometimes we just need Jonathan Van Ness's energy in our lives

Best paired with: Tissues. So many tissues. And our Off Record candle for when you need a safe space to have all the feelings.

Real talk: This show taught us that self-care isn't selfish, and also that French-tucking our shirts can change our entire vibe. We'll miss you, Fab 5.

4. People We Meet on Vacation (Now Streaming)

The Vibe: Friends-to-lovers rom-com based on the Emily Henry book

If you read the book, you already know this story destroyed you in the best way. Two best friends who take a summer trip together every year finally have to deal with the fact that maybe they're more than friends.

Why millennial moms are here for it:

  • It's Emily Henry. The woman understands our generation's relationship trauma
  • Travel montages through New Orleans and Barcelona (we can vacation vicariously, right?)
  • The whole "I've been in love with my best friend" thing hits different in your 30s
  • It's light, it's fun, and nobody dies (we're tired of dark prestige TV, okay?)

Best paired with: Main Character candle, because this movie will make you want to be the main character of your own life. Also, a charcuterie board you actually have time to make fancy.

Real talk: This is what we show our partners when we try to explain why "Beach Read" made us cry for three days straight.

5. Agatha Christie's Seven Dials (Now Streaming)

The Vibe: Murder mystery at a 1920s house party with Helena Bonham Carter

Lady Eileen "Bundle" Brent has to solve a murder at a lavish country house party in 1925. It's giving Knives Out meets Downton Abbey, and we are SO here for it.

Why we're obsessed:

  • Helena Bonham Carter being chaotic and brilliant
  • Period drama aesthetic but make it murder
  • Only 3 episodes, so you can actually finish it before your brain turns to mush
  • Agatha Christie never misses
  • The costumes alone are worth it

Best paired with: Déjà Vu Energy candle and whatever fancy tea you have in the back of your cupboard. Pretend you're at an English manor while sitting in your living room surrounded by Legos.

Real talk: This is the perfect show for when you want to feel sophisticated but also need someone to die mysteriously. It's called range.

6. Finding Her Edge (Now Streaming)

The Vibe: Ice Princess meets The Summer I Turned Pretty but with more triple axels

An ice skater fake-dates her skating partner while training for the World Championship and trying to save her family's skating empire. Also she's still attracted to her old partner. It's messy, it's dramatic, it's perfect.

Why we're watching:

  • If you were obsessed with "Ice Princess" in your Michelle Trachtenberg era, this is FOR YOU
  • Fake dating trope! Love triangle! Ice skating drama!
  • It's giving early 2000s sports romance and we're nostalgic
  • Sometimes we just need predictable comfort content
  • Figure skating is back in our cultural consciousness and we're not mad about it

Best paired with: Pretty Face candle (because she's pretty and on thin ice, literally). Also, remember when we all wanted to be figure skaters after watching the Olympics? This is that energy.

Real talk: Is it Oscar-worthy? No. Will we watch it while eating ice cream at 10pm? Absolutely.

7. The Upshaws Part 7 (Now Streaming)

The Vibe: Family comedy that gets the chaos without being cringe

The Upshaws are back with more episodes of this working-class family comedy. It's like if "Everybody Loves Raymond" was actually funny and also featured Mike Epps and Wanda Sykes.

Why it's in our queue:

  • It's genuinely funny without trying too hard
  • The family dynamics are relatable in that "my family is also a beautiful disaster" way
  • Wanda Sykes is a national treasure
  • It doesn't take itself too seriously
  • You can actually have it on while doing other things and still follow along

Best paired with: Stress Theory candle, because parenting is universal chaos. Also, whatever takeout you ordered because nobody felt like cooking.

Real talk: This is the show we have on when we need something light that won't require our full attention because we're also online shopping, texting the group chat, and making tomorrow's to-do list.

Honorable Mentions (Because We're Binging Everything)

Virgin River - Still going strong if you need that Hallmark comfort food energy. Small-town romance, very low stakes, extremely watchable.

XO, Kitty - If you have teens or just loved "To All the Boys," this spinoff is wholesome and sweet. Also it's set in Seoul and the aesthetic is chef's kiss.

Love Is Blind: Germany Season 2 - Because sometimes we need to watch strangers make questionable life decisions to feel better about our own.

The Bottom Line

Look, we're all just trying to survive here. Whether you're into Regency romance, murder mysteries, wholesome makeovers, or psychological thrillers where maybe your spouse is a killer (relatable), Netflix has you covered this month.

Pour yourself something in a fancy glass (water counts!), light a candle that gets your vibe, and embrace the 47 minutes of peace before you pass out on the couch.

You've earned this.

What Are You Watching?

Seriously though, what's in your queue? Drop a comment and let us know what we're missing. We're always looking for our next obsession.

And if you need us, we'll be over here watching Bridgerton for the third time while pretending we don't have emails to answer.
