Care Instructions
Care Instructions
First Burn
Burn for 2-3 hours minimum to create an even melt pool. Soy wax has memory—this sets the standard for every burn after.
Trim the Wick
Trim to ¼ inch before each burn for a cleaner flame and longer life.
Burn Time
Max 4 hours at a time. Let cool for 2 hours before relighting.
Safety First
Keep away from drafts, kids, pets, and anything flammable. Never leave unattended.
When to Stop
Stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains. (Then repurpose the jar—you earned it.)
Soy wax is natural, so frosting or slight discoloration is normal and doesn't affect performance.
Light it. Enjoy it. Repeat.

We hand-pour every candle in small batches, so please allow 4-7 business days for us to get your order ready to ship. You'll receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.

Returns & Exchanges
Our Promise
We want you to love your candle. If something's wrong or you're not satisfied, we'll make it right.
Damaged or Defective Products
If your candle arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery at [your email] with photos. We'll send you a replacement or issue a full refund—no need to return the damaged item.
What We Can't Accept
- Candles that have been burned or used
- Items without original packaging
- Returns requested after 14 days
How to Start a Return
Email us at kayla@maddisonavenue.com with your order number and reason for return. We'll send you return instructions and process your refund or exchange once we receive the item.
Refund Timeline
Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of receiving your return. Store credit is issued immediately.
